Last year, Wenn and I visited a wonderful renaissance fair in my old home town, and there I really, really fell in love with the band Rapalje. I came home with way too many photos of these guys because they were not only really good musicians, who are much better on stage than in their studio recordings, they simply made the whole day a lot of fun and so much brighter. And I’m a total sucker for Dieb’s smile. 

And yeah, Wenn got it right when I told her, “Boy, they sure know how to party!”. She just snorted and said, “Of course. They’re Dutch.”
